Ignore the little things

I find myself overly critical of church, tonight my wife and I tried out a new church that has saterday night services, this works great for us because of me working sunday mornings. As we left we had many of the same thoughts on the strengths and weakness of the service or maybe better labeled things we enjoyed and things we could have done with out. We both came to the conlusion to give it a couple more weeks and see how things turned out. I cant speak for her but my own thoughts were I guess we should settle and suck it up, we are never going to find a church like ( insert former church). As we made our way home I wondered if it was really fair to compare the two, and if it really did any good. When I really think about it I can remeber having some dislikes in the begining about some little things in churches that I came to love. So I am going to try and ignore the little things and search for the passion and love that I have had before, in this new place with new people. I have made alot of changes in this new year and this is one more I need to add to the list, being willing to ignore the little things that happen and look for the heart and joy in the church.
